Dr. Nicholas Fasano
CMO
Dr. Fasano is an American Board of Radiology certified diagnostic radiologist with over 15 years of experience. He attended college and medical school in Philadelphia, PA where he earned his M.D. degree at University of Pennsylvania. After that, he completed his radiology residency at University of Miami where he developed an interest in Emergency and Trauma Imaging at the busy Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. He then moved back to his home state of Pennsylvania, where he spent the next 12 years as a private practice radiologist. During this time, Dr. Fasano started and ran his own practice for over 10 years, served as radiology medical director along with serving on hospital executive and credentials committees. Currently residing in south-central Pennsylvania, for the past 5 years Dr. Fasano has been an assistant professor of radiology at University of Maryland as a member of the Emergency and Trauma Imaging department, where he reads for multiple large and medium-sized hospitals in the Baltimore and D.C. areas.

Howard brings 40 years of Radiology leadership in all facets of Radiology up to the C-Suite level. Starting his career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist up through Radiology Director on the hospital side, Howard then moved on to the business side, where he has generated hundreds of millions in sales of equipment, software, teleradiology, radiology services, and finance in ever expanding roles and positions. Howard has helped to build successful Radiology companies. Howard built the largest region for vRad, increasing that region to $38M annually. He has also successfully consulted with companies , hospitals and radiology groups to assist in their growth and development, and fully understands todays market , trends, and how to help clients navigate in these times, and beyond.
Matt McNeill

Matt is an accredited investor with over 30 years in financial services experience including managing a portfolio of private and public investments. He has worked across many industry sectors including founding a pilot venture for Charles Schwab to take private companies public and acted in a corporate development role at a publicly traded communications company with a $4 billion market cap, handling investments, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration of newly acquired companies. Matt also has extensive experience within the healthcare sector, including financing a 35-location behavioral healthcare roll-up strategy, which expanded to 65 locations by 2022 while building out additional patient care service verticals. His other notable projects include financing a nurse staffing company and raising capital for an oncolytic immunotherapy company focused on cancer treatment, among many other physician-led healthcare related investment opportunities. In addition to being an owner/investor in Aligned Radiology, Matt's responsibilities include providing oversight to maintain the company's financial goals and operations while exploring future growth opportunities.
Dr. Tom Ptak
COO
Dr. Ptak is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with a certificate of added qualification in neuroradiology and over 30 years of experience in the profession. He began his training in upstate New York, earning a Ph.D. in Nuclear and Radiation Chemistry at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, after which he pursued his passion for medicine across the Hudson River at Albany Medical College. After completing his education, he returned to his native Massachusetts to raise a family and pursue radiology residency training at The Lahey Clinic in Burlington. An interest in the neurosciences led him to a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital where he then continued for twenty years as an attending in the emergency and trauma division. During his time at MGH, he focused on diagnosing illnesses and injuries of the brain and spinal cord presenting to the emergency department. His broad range of academic experience extends from lecturing locally in Chemistry and Physics at Harvard College and Anatomy and Neurosciences at Harvard Medical School to speaking at radiology conferences nationally and internationally. He has mentored numerous undergraduate and medical students, residents and fellows.
More recently, Tom has directed his efforts toward managing healthcare delivery, especially regarding the radiology service line. He has held several administrative positions including site director of the Marcus Trauma Center at Emory University’s Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta and more recently as Chief of Trauma Imaging at the world-renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and Vice Chair for Community Radiology at the University of Maryland. He has served on several national committees and has been recognized for his efforts as a Fellow of the American Society of Emergency Radiology, the American College of Radiology and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
